this might be helpful to only me
since its clear I talk to me and TCP
and I'm pretty sure Mr TCP
most likely knows this... but my
iPod keeps freezing up on me
and I have to google
what to do every time.

Its simple.
For my generation with a click wheel:
Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons
simultaneously until the Apple logo appears,
about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
